Hi everyone, Smile
I need some black leather winter boots, ankle ones. I have tried Padders and Hotter, but they don't have anything in my size RollEyes
Anyone have any ideas??? Due to my feet spreading, having lost my arches due to the beloved RA Mad I find it very hard to find any that are wide enough. I recently paid £40 for a pair and they hurt the toes on my left foot so are sitting around having only worn them 3 times
Anyway, enough moaning!!!!
Any ideas appreciated
Thank you Smile
BARBARA

Hi Barbara,
Have you looked at Wider fit shoes Ltd, they have some in there catalogue, and you can also view on line at www.widerfitshoes.co.uk Also Evans do shoes and boots, and might be worth a look.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Has anybody tried Uggs? - they look amazingly comfy but they're a bit pricey to risk them without actually knowing that they'll be ok.

Hello!

Evans do some lovely wide fit shoes and boots, New look also do some nice wide fit shoes but not to sure if they have boots. Jave you tired clarks shoe shop?

Slyvia - uggs are lovely and warm, but I personally find they are not very supportive. I could where mine in and out of the car, going into people's houses etc but not for a longish walk, or shopping etc! They are very expensive, luckily I received mine as a gift unfortunatly I haven't been able to wear them as much as I would have liked as they don't support my kness at all!!

Thank you for all the replies!!
I have tried Evans, and Clarks, I own some biscuit colour uggs, they are fairly supportive, but of course not fully Sad
Tried Shoe Tailor, nothing in my size (7 ee or eee)
I haven't tried the wider fit ones, hadn't heard of them, so will give them a try.
I will go and look on the wide fit link now, fingers crossed!!! Smile

Fashion World normally have a good mix of sizes & widths. The even do wider calf fittings.

Managed to oget some today in BHS believe it or not!!!
They're Lotus, and lovely and wide, leather with a soft lining that can be folded down. They were £65 but had 20 percent off, so not a bad deal!! Smile
